Your child learned vocabulary words in kindergarten. They are listed below. Please keep practicing them over the summer to help prepare for first grade!
Word List: see, the, you, I, come, a, from, am, go, we, have, little, do, are, look, they, like, with, my, here, where, that, what, of, green, blue, red, purple, yellow, orange, black, brown, one, two, three, four, five.
Ways to Practice Vocabulary Words |
Write the words on paper. Cut them out. Use the words as flash cards! |
Practice 3-4 words per night. Add 1 more word each night. |
Let your child draw pictures for the words. |
Use the flash cards and hide them throughout your house. Send your child on a scavenger hunt for certain words! |
